An Assistant Professor in the History Department at Bronx Community College of the City University of New York, I teach a variety of courses including an Introduction to the Modern World (one semester modern world history survey course), The American Nation (one semester U.S. history survey course), and the History of New York City

I have taught sections in the ASAP program, College Discovery program, Honors program and with a Writing Intensive focus. Students develop their critical thinking skills using a wide variety of visual and written primary materials. Using my public history experience and scholarly guidance, students have created a variety of digital exhibits on Bronx Community College’s Hall of Fame of Great Americans, the first hall of fame in the United States.
